CânSing as a concept/project was conceived by Suzanne in 2008 and she has driven it ever since, despite the fact her background is definitely NOT music!

Suzanne is an experienced project and change management professional with a degree in Community and Youth Studies and various management/leadership qualifications. Her principles are firmly rooted in children's rights, and these remain integral to the delivery of CânSing, alongside her belief that all children, regardless of their background should have the same access to high quality provision.

Suzanne’s role in the organisation has evolved over time from Project Manager to Executive Director of CânSing Ltd and, whilst she is less operational, she retains the strategic leadership position and overall responsibility alongside the Board.

The longevity of CânSing remains one of Suzanne’s biggest career achievements to date; especially navigating this “not-for-profit” company through the Covid pandemic (2020 – 22) ensuring that it remains for the benefit of all children and young people in Wales long into the future.
