Sioned has worked for CânSing for four years, alongside the other parts of her portfolio career and has a multi-faceted role as Vocal Animateur and Projects co-ordinator within the organisation.

As an experienced primary school educator, she brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, experience and understanding from her numerous roles in Senior Leadership and Management, Additional Learning Needs Co-ordination, Advisory Teacher for Welsh for the Local Authority, University Lecturer and Community Chorus Manager for Welsh National Opera – she knows her stuff!

Sioned has written and delivers our bespoke training for Cymraeg Campus and Siarter Iaith, developing staff and pupils’ Cymraeg skills through a singing programme which enables them to achieve specific Welsh language targets.

She has recently undertaken the immense task of refreshing our Song Support Sheets and Guides to reflect the requirements of the new Curriculum for Wales and the development of our new songs offer to ensure diversity, equality and inclusion.
